PG Blog: At San Francisco State University Patrick O'Hearn focused on video editing with an emphasis in animation. Patrick has participated in many group projects most notably contributing as Editor for the award winning film “Exposing Homelessness”. Focusing on digital editing, motion graphics and animation he is also experienced in all levels of production. Some of his skills include using Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier, After Effects, Maya, Lightwave. Illustrator, In Design, Stop Motion, Hand Drawn Animation, Flash, Optical Printing and 16mm film editing. For the last 7 years Patrick has taught a curriculum he help develop for instructing 3D animation to elementary, middle school and high school students. The program took off at its peak was being taught in six different schools in the East Bay. Sharing the knowledge has become a passion for him.
